This piece was composed as an accompanying soundtrack to LINEAE, an exhibition by Louise McLachlan.

"LINEAE is a series of photographs observing the order, harmony and stillness of line in relation light, shade and texture. These elements combine to evoke memory and a sense of engagement."

The soundtrack attempts to respond to this concept, taking a collection of tones and musical elements that differ in duration, texture or shape, and displaying them simultaneously. The incidental interactions between these divergent lines form the body of the piece. This is a truncated version of the 90 minute piece that accompanied the exhibition.
